African Development

Kenya is set to vote for a new constitution that has taken the country more than 20 years to develop. There is a lot of crime that have followed the campaigners. Those who are for the constitution are fighting those against the same constitution. What everybody is forgetting is that two years ago the same politicians led the country into the abyss by polarizing it along tribal lines during the presidential elections. I am seeing a repeat of the same in the coming referendum. Other African countries are also experiencing the same wave of violence. As the African Union meets currently in Kampala Uganda to discuss the threat from Al Shabaab and general Africa Development, I would like to urge all of us to express our suggestions on development and the influence of development partners, such as the Dutch government, to them through the Africa Union website
