As Court Takes Break, News broke That Supermodel Testimony May Be Delayed

The long waited testimony commences today in The Hague, Netherlands, British Supermodel Naomi Campbell. She was cross examined by the Prosecutor for the Special Court for Sierra Leone and followed by the Defense counsel. She was asked whether she received any diamond from former president Taylor, she stated that yes she received diamond from some men who met her late at night in her living room and gave her some diamond which she cant tell the actual number but about two or three. But she did not know the men and who sent them, but assumed it was Mr. Taylor who sent it to her as a gift. And she also mentioned that she has at any time met Mr. Taylor nor even heard about his country Liberia. She only met him in South Africa during a dinner and fundraising program for Nelson Mandela. But is it real for some one to give you a diamond gift just on your first meet with out any reason or special interest? And she mentioned that she did not even say thank you to X President Taylor and after everything there was no communication between them.
The court showed a real picture where Naomi, Charles Taylor, Nelson Mandela and some other dignitaries posed before the dinner, My question is why did they took picture together and Charles Taylor and Naomi stood closed and from it looks you will clearly tell that they were either friends or having closed relationship but she denied never to have known Mr. Taylor before the dinner. Secondly Naomi Campbell is a supermodel and everyone knows that she is rich and highly protected where ever she goes. If there was no communication between Naomi and Mr. Taylor how should the men she mentioned get through her security men with out any questioning and went straight to her door knock at the door and she opened and didn’t say nothing but collected the gift and went back to bed. If this was true, then I must say Naomi is not safe if she is still having those security men on to now. From all learnt she was not consistent and she is afraid of telling the truth as she mention Charles Taylor was a rebel and criminal who have killed thousand of people and therefore she is afraid for her life and family members.
It left with the Judges to tell what their final verdict on this matter is, but for now Naomi has return back home. Africans and the World are waiting to see if the Special Court for Sierra Leone can bring a stop to impunity and tell all our leaders that no one is above the law and the law is of no respect for no one no mater your status. But Human Right must be respected and protected by all leaders.
