VoiceOver 2015 Week 'Security and Development' |

NCDO invites 16 people to participate in an interesting programme from 14 until 22 September. During the VoiceOver Week we offer members the opportunity to discuss issues regarding peace, security and development with politicians, NGO’s, civilians and the media. (The exact programme will be known at the end of August.) Should a substantial part of the Dutch development budget be utilized for defence? How can the Netherlands contribute to peace keeping missions? In the Netherlands these and more questions about peace, security and development are discussed on a regular basis by Dutch politicians, NGO’s and the public. VoiceOver 2015 brings in the perspective of people who live in (post) conflict countries.

Yussuf Khalib, Somalia Selection criteria One criteria is to have a representation of a variety of opinions. Other criteria for selection are an equal participation of men and women, an even distribution of participants from various parts of the world, age etc.
