VoiceOver 2015 for the Dutch

What can VoiceOver do for you?
VoiceOver 2015 can contribute to different projects or events of Dutch organisations. Also for individuals there are possibilities to get in contact with VoiceOver members.

Schools
A unique experience for your students? Let a member of VoiceOver 2015 give a guest lecture at your school. When VoiceOver members are in the Netherlands, they are glad to come speak about life in a developing country. For students this is a unique opportunity to hear experience first-hand. The lessons fit well with subjects such as geography, history and social studies. The target group includes the last two classes of elementary school and all high school classes. Higher education is also eligible.
It’s also possible to start up an online exchange program, e.g. with video messaging or our forum. At the Kaj Munk college in Hoofddorp, the third and fourth classes asked questions of VoiceOver members via video. The members then answered these questions with their own video.

Debates and conferences
Planning to organise a debate or conference on international cooperation? Ask for VoiceOver 2015’s input. By posting a thesis on our forum; by inviting a VoiceOver member who lives in the Netherlands to participate; or by having them serve in a jury. Another possibility is communicating with VoiceOver members by videoconferencing.

Communication and publications
Want to include VoiceOver 2015 in a campaign? If your campaign is related to international cooperation, you can involve VoiceOver 2015. E.g., by interviewing members about the current situation in their country. Research and advice What do VoiceOver members think of a particular topic? It’s possible to launch a small-scale study if you want to find out how VoiceOver 2015 views a particular subject. You can consult with VoiceOver members on various topics related to international issues in their country.

All VoiceOver members meet each other on the VoiceOver 2015 website. Here you’ll find their background information and an overview of our activities. You can also participate in their discussions on our forum.
