Giving birth before circumcision is a disgrace to your family. Because of the high stigma, parents ensure their daughters are circumsized. Girls too, demand to be circumcised when they reach their puberty. These festive season, over 20 girls faced the knife in our village, despite all resources and efforts by NGOs, governments, International organizations and Institutions. Across Maasai land Initiative, offers an alternative RITE of PASSAGE by involving and empowering girls themselves to say NO to circumcision. Ezekiel, I am so amazed at how Girls in your country are so proud of being circumcised. While in my country, girls are turning their backs against it. They completely hate it this time. Many Girls have hated the circumcision culture and they nolonger wants to be part of it. I'm proud to say that we have started getting low rate of circumcised girls while the rate of uncircumcied girls is increasing. To my point of view, I think life should be a lather steep. From one stage to the other.In the 80s to the early 90s there was high rate of circumcised girls, but this time it is drastically reduced. I do not know how you practice yours in your country. But in my country, they practice it to a deep spirituall level which courses whitchcraft, demonic manupulation, death and many other dangers behind. Men in my country are this time afraid of circumcised women to be married. Circumcision is for men not for girls. Do you support this Ezekeil?? I do support!!
