29-06-2011 02:13The Anti-Corruption Commission Vs NRA in Sierra LeoneWith all the efforts that the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in Sierra Leone has made over the years to ensure that it restores hope and resources once stolen by public officials in positions of trust, the Commission has succeeded in prosecuting government officials and a list of other highly placed civil servants but unfortunately this time, with all the evidences and efforts the ACC committed to ensure they win the case against the Former Commissioner of the National Revenue Authority (Alieu Sesay) the high court has seen no reason to pronounce the accused guilty. What do you think is wrong with our court systems in Africa? ?Most people may not know the power of little things except you take a walk down to Africa and try sleeping in a room filled with mosquitoes?. I think we are still a little too far behind but it is upon us to bring the desired change. Europe and the Americas were not like this since they started. They worked hard and over the years to reach where they are now.Be an urgent for change now.
