27-11-2011 22:07VoiceOver2015 Week, 16-24 September 2011VoiceOver2015, an initiative of NCDO had a superb VoiceOver2015 week, which all the participants testified that it was one of the most excellent weeks. The NCDO/VoiceOver2015 did directly demonstrate a huge affection of humanity to all participants from all over the world in the VoiceOver2015 Week from the 16-24 September 2011. How pleasant it was!! A huge welcome!! The people of the Netherlands with their fluorescentic smiles, a consoling and curing open arms to all of us that participated in the VoiceOver2015 week in the Netherlands. The welcome given to us by the NCDO/VoiceOver also made us to know the real definition of togetherness, brotherhood, and we were able to realize that we are global citizens. Togetherness brings: love, education, awareness, transformation i.e. «meaningful relationships, affective mission etc"; we did also get the real affection in "togetherness", that it was like we had known each others for many years and we never wanted to leave each other. I was tears in our eyes for the possible separation and joy in our hearts that we made new relationships and families. I fully have the conviction that We as VoiceOver2015 members are greatly welcome in Bangladesh, Armenia, Kenya, Ghana, Honduras, Nepal, The Philippines, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Senegal etc. VoiceOver2015 members from these countires stated above actively took part in the September 16-24th voiceover week in the Netherlands. Through the VoiceOver2015 week 16-24-2011, a huge ties was fully established between us from these countries that we are global citizens and we are all one people. This is one of the visions of VoiceOver that the entire world could come together and have one goal for PEACE. These are the programs that voiceover members were engaged in during VoiceOver2015 Week from 16-24 September 2011: 1) Workshop Diversity Joy, this diversity joy invites people and encourages them to deal with our differences in culture and background in a positive productive way as consequence; we can live more consciousness, more responsible, more defensible and more happy. 2) A Call 2 Action, this is a movement where people can find each other to work on the transition of 'traditional development aid' towards mutually beneficial international cooperation, which is internalized into all aspects of (global) society and not bound to specific institutions. 3) Preliminary round of election of the UN Youth Delegate, this selection process is organized by the Dutch National Youth Council. In response to a call for applications, interested candidates submit their CV and answer a few questions in an online questionnaire on what they would do if they were selected as a youth delegate. 4) A Farm Tour ‘Ekodorp’, Alphen ann den Rijn Preparation demonstration on ‘Prinsjesdag’ Ekodorp is an organic dairy farm in the Green Heart of Holland. On the far live approximately 150 cows. The animal dung-mixed with fruits and vegetables- is used to generate electricity. 5) Prinsjesdag The Hague is the day on which the reigning monarch of the Netherlands (currently Queen Beatrix) addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives in the Ridderzaal (Hall of Knights) in The Hague. The troonrede ‘Speech from the Throne) sets out the main features of government policy for the coming parliamentary session. 6) Kick off Masterpeace, Utrecht Central Station, Masterpeace is a heartwarming global peace project ever as a result of an intensive East –West cooperation, supported byNGOs, companies, cities, social entrepreneurs and you. 7) Workshop Social Media 1%club Amsterdam, 1%club is the platform that connects smart development projects with people, money and knowledge around the world. 8) Guestlesson Social Justice, University of Amsterdam 9) Touristic sites of Utrecht, Dom Tower Finished in the 14th century, the Cathedral and its tower (Domtoren) are the most striking medieval landmarks in the city that once had 40 cathedrals. In 1674 the North Sea winds reached hurricane force and blew down the cathedral’s name, leaving the tower and transept behind. And many many more other activites that we were involved in. VoiceOver2015 an initiative of NCDO is one of the world’s most developing organisation that is geared at or catering to install a total developing foundation to developing countries and people from developing countries. As a VoiceOver2015 member, your voice is indeed going; your contributions are valued to the Dutch community. The Dutch community has deep affection for you as a voiceover2015 member. Your only roll is to value your time in posting your contributions on the Voiceover2015 forum. Philip Yayah Kpakiwa. Lets come together and love one another. www.cfcma.org |
