11-07-2011 10:37 Is peace keeping classified as development cooperation? Many devloping countries receive peace keping troops whenevr there is war. Others receive funds to improve surveillance and intelligence gathering on terrorism. Recently Uganda received military equipment including two small drowns to counter terrorism. Well to me this is all assistance to developing countries, but can it be classified as development assistance? Works directly with rural communities for empowerment, livelihood improvement, Peace, Promoting culture and Cultural tourism
