My Visit to The Netherlands

The Netherlands is such a beautiful country with water every where. I arrived in the Netherlands on September 16th 2011 in the morning and had some hard time locating where to catch the train to Utrecht. Finally, i was at the train station and as we stood waiting for the train, a couple was kissing and they did that continuously until the train arrived about 7 minutes later. This was very new to me but i learned.
First,we visited the cattle farm and i was really impressed with the cows there. This reminded me of my typical way of life at home as a pastoralist, and i took a lot of milk at the farm. I like milk so much. It is not easy to forget about the farm and i would visit there again if i get chance to go to the Netherlands.
We attended several workshops with Diversity Joy which i really enjoyed. I enjoyed visiting the schools and the students were lovely. Our visit to the Hague was also lovely except for one nasty journalist who made fun out of us. In the evening i enjoyed dancing in a hall with other people.
I liked visiting the NCDO offices in Amsterdam and we discussed Global Citizenship. People were very warm there. The Master peace launch was excellent and i will try this in my country.
Last but not least, was the forum for A CALL TO ACTION. I liked meeting and knowing Cheryl and i have started working with her. Everything was so lovely and i realized that where ever i went, people liked my way of dressing - the press, students, passersby, just everybody.
Our eighth day to me was like the third day in the Netherlands and i was not really ready to leave as yet, but i had to - Miss you all! I would propose that Voiceover2015 extends the stay in the Netherlands to at least 15 days in order to get the real feeling and learn even more.
Over to you.
