As a young female activist who has worked in several countries on developmental issues it is with pride that I apply for participation in the 2015 Third Chamber forum so as to show forth the experience and capabilities of young African girls towards development initiatives. It is very clear that ICT offer interesting possibilities to make Development Cooperation more effective since information and knowledge are both essential ingredients for human development. These technologies possess a horizontal nature across the whole array of interventions in Development, such as for example, the Millennium Development Goals. However, I see my participation in this particular forum as an added voice to young women’s participation in decision making process and will in turn continue to change the negative perception that the society holes against women’s participation and involvement in such forums. |

I would like to work on Health, Peace and Conflict Prevention, as a Lab Technician who have experience on health related issues affecting mostly young girls it would be good for me to contribute on this particular topic and of course Peace and Conflict prevention which I am very much interested in as a victim of war now working towards making the world a better place for the generation yet unborn to live and grow in a peaceful and developed nation a nation were violence and war will cease to be acceptable. Additionally Gender/Equal right which I am fighting for so that the voice of women would be hard loud and clear and to also have access to space for participation. |
