I am interested in the Development Cooperation for Vietnam:Vietnam is considered by the world community to be a success in development cooperation. During 15 years, International Donors committed official development assistance (ODA) of as much as USD 47.5 billions. One of the reasons for such a pledge was a strong commitment of Vietnam to continue the goals of further reducing poverty, and maintaining economic growth in an inclusive and sustainable manner. I am in good position to make contributions to the Third Chamber by providing proposals and dialogue to improve international cooperation:With over 15 years of experiences in the field of development consulting, I have gained broad understanding of coordination/ interaction among project counterparts, especially with the commune-district-provincial authorities, the households and private sector representatives and key social players at grass root level throughout Vietnam, including mountainous, remote and poor rural areas. I am well familiar to issues of gender equality, participatory approach and awareness improvement techniques. My experiences include matters of coordination and concertation of different projects in the same locality or to the same group/industry to better benefit the use of resources and enhance the goal achieved. Therefore, these interests and experiences make me very confident in participating in the Third Chamber to contribute in the most positive manner to the to development of innovative and creative proposals to improve Dutch development cooperation, to strengthen public support and to inform the Dutch audience about what goes on in Vietnam and how they can influence that. |
