my motivation to participate : I am currently volunteering for 2 different Trusts as Awareness administrator and Facilitator. I have recently discovered great interest in NGO‘s and community participation. I would also like to advance my skills and be an active participant in all relevant social programs. I would like to share my knowledge about how South Africa is developing in terms of employment and ultimately the social effects on our minority race group, from the stance of a Coloured female. Also, to take the knowledge gained from other nationalities and possibly implement some of the ideas in my own community. I have studied Psychology and Women’s & Gender studies which is almost complete. I was awarded the Sayxchange scholarship and will be volunteering in Maputo Mozambique.
what I want to work on : + Peace and Conflict prevention + Gender/ equal rights + Millennium Development Goals
what I want to work on more specific :
my personal slogan : “There‘s a place for everyone under the sun“
