I have this keen interest to bring the socio-economic and political issues plaguing local communities in development countries as the Philippines. Many communities are significantly supported by official development aid through bilateral and multilateral cooperation. I want to share the experiences of these communities, on how their lives were changed, in positive and negative manner. I am interested to impart to the international community as the dutch parliament how can aid be effective at the local level, by recognizing what they really need to improve the communities‘ welfare. |

I want to work on issues and project proposals that concerns improving the socio-economic and political welfare of local communities i.e. Mindanao (Philippines) through socio-economic and political empowerment by improving the capacity of the local people to uplift their poor situation through sustainable economic efforts. I want to work on how education can bring upon good change to the new generation in Mindanao (Philippines) in changing how its inhabitants can live together thus promoting peace in the island and preventing conflict because of cultural differences in the future. |

Make the best of what you have. I can be an agent of change (for welfare betterment) by thinking foremost of what i can contribute best for the good of my community. It should start within me and convince other members of the community, or even the international community as the dutch taxpayers to contribute significantly as well to eradicating worldwide poverty. |
