my motivation to participate : From my experience as old member of VoiceOver I found that this project creats linkages between different nations and cultures. Every member have opportunity to express themselves and freely talk about those problems and issues which are not easy to talk about it in home countries. There is good opportunity to talk about marginalized communities and share it with all members. VoiceOver is a tribune where you can bring the voice of those forgotten communities and talk about their problems and pains. As a member of this project I would like to encourage the leaders of the world to pay more attention to the problems of millions millions of poor people in the undeveloped world. Through this project you can closely contact Dutch community and see their interest to the development issues of the entire world. Democracy and freedom of the speech is one of the big issue of nations around the world. How to improve democracy and what steps should be taken to provide safe environment for people to freely express themselves? This is the topic which I want to learn from other experiences and also share my idea about it.
what I want to work on : + Peace and Conflict prevention + Gender/ equal rights + Democratization
what I want to work on more specific : I want to work on two specific area: Peace and Conflict prevention and Democratization.Afghanistan is suffering from three decade of war and at this moment military forces of more than 30 countries are busy to bring peace and stability to this country. But still there is no real peace and stability. Afghans are not happy and the expection is too high for development and stability. I would like to share my idea about this issue and see also what other members thinking about this conflict. There are some ways to solve this problem peacefully but why it is not happaning in the life of Afghans? Second topic is also very important for post conflict countries. Most countries are claiming that they implemented democracy but in reality it is not democracy. I would like to work on this topic closely with other members. Democratization should not become a political tool for the government and politicians. This is a process where every body or nation should go through this and experience it themselves.
my personal slogan : I would like to see the world without war. I am committed to work towards the peace building and reconstruction of my own country and if necessary in other part of the world. I would like to learn more about the values of democracy and assist communities to get knowledge about democracy. I will continue to put all my efforts and knowledge for the development activities and realization of democracy!
